Authorisations Review Panel

An Authorisations Review Panel is a panel of three members convened from a pool of appointed panellists, to consider applications for review of decisions on authorisation to practise or waivers from requirements of the Handbook. The pool of appointed panellists consists of five lay members and three barristers. Panels convened consist of at least two lay members and at least one barrister.

Please see the list of members and brief biographical information

The Authorisations Review Panel was created as part of our governance restructure, as we transfer responsibility for regulatory decisions to the executive. The Panel ensure that all requests for review of those decisions are determined fairly, effectively and efficiently and in accordance with the relevant regulations and guidelines.
