Task Completion Groups

The Bar Standards Board's Standing Orders state that it may establish ad hoc groups (known as 'Task Completion Groups') to complete a specific task or tasks.

Task Completion Groups may be comprised of members of the executive, BSB Board members, Committee members and/or others who are able to provide specific expertise. Their purpose is to assist the executive in completing a specific task or tasks. They do not have any formal decision-making role and may act only in matters within their terms of reference.

When a Task Completion Group is established, the BSB will specify a time limit for completion of the tasks (which may be extended).

All Task Completion Groups members are required to comply with the BSB's policies on confidentiality, conflicts of interest, data protection and equality and diversity.
