Manjit Singh Panesar failed to respond promptly or at all to written requests from the Bar Standards Board, in letters dated 16th March 2007, 1st April 2008, 30th April 2008, 3"1 June 2008, 24th June 2008 and 1st September 2008, for comments or information on a complaint, such failure being, by reason of its nature (in connection with a serious allegation), repetition and combination with other failures to comply with the Code (being the failures which are Charges 1 and 2 above), so serious as to bring the Bar into disrepute.
