Mr Feargrieve, an unregistered barrister, behaved in a way which was likely to diminish the trust and confidence which the public places in him or in the profession, in that, he assaulted another person on 7 October 2018. For this conduct, Mr Feargrieve was convicted of common assault by beating contrary to Section 39 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 on 16 December 2019 and was subsequently sentenced to a fine of £900.
