The barristers listed below are currently suspended having given an undertaking or following an order from an Interim Suspension Panel.

Michael John Little

Called to the Bar by Lincoln's Inn in March 2010.

Following an undertaking given by Mr Little on 14 December 2018, Mr Little is suspended from his practice as a barrister pending a hearing before a Disciplinary Tribunal. Mr Little is appealing the conviction that he received on 10 April 2018 and in the event that the conviction is set aside, the undertaking will cease 7 clear days after the BSB have been notified of the outcome in writing.

Date undertaking is effective from - 14 December 2018

Rasib Ghaffar

Following an undertaking Mr Rasib Ghaffar is suspended from his practice as a barrister and carrying out public access work until such date as a Disciplinary Tribunal have disposed of the charges that prompted his referral to an Interim Panel or such as a Disciplinary Tribunal shall otherwise direct.

Date undertaking is effective from – 11 March 2024

William Hamish Hickey

Following an agreed order approved by an Interim Suspension Panel on 2 December 2024,  Mr Hamish William Hickey is suspended from practice as a barrister and is prohibited from holding himself out as a barrister, pending the decision of the Interim Suspension Panel at an adjourned hearing which is to be listed on the next available date, and will decide whether the suspension should remain in place whilst the enforcement process takes place.

Date suspension is effective from:  8 November 2024.
