Legal Aid Agency publishes timetable for 2015 tender process – prospective BSB authorised entities urged to get in touch

3 December 2014

Any prospective barrister-based business entity planning to seek Bar Standards Board (BSB) authorisation and wishing to tender for the 2015 Legal Aid Agency's (LAA) contracts, is urged to apply early for BSB entity regulation.

Following our announcement yesterday that the Legal Services Board has approved our application to regulate entities, we will be in a position to start accepting applications from 5 January 2015. This will allow any entity wishing to tender with the LAA to do so.

If you are interested in tendering for a contract please apply to the BSB - via entityregulation@barstandardsboard.org.uk - to become an authorised entity as soon as possible.
